We make these fashionable and practical leg warmers from leftover fabric at the edges of TUUBs. And if there’s still more fabric left, we use it to make the product’s label ribbons. And if there’s a slightly wider strip of fabric left over from the TUUB edge, we create a functional tube scarf that you can get at probably the best price in the country. Isn’t it great how the material is used? We’re pretty thrilled about it ourselves!
They may slide down if worn directly on bare skin, settling nicely around the ankle. They won’t bunch up too tightly, as the material is relatively fluffy.
Since they don’t contain elastane, they may stretch out a bit over time, but after a gentle machine wash, they return to their original shape. For black wool, keep a lint roller handy if you have any light-colored pets at home. For white cat owners, we recommend the gray leg warmers, as not a speck will show on this melange fabric!

Better wash by hand or use tender wool program cycle in case of machine wash. Wash with similar colors. No fabric softener for wool, because wool has its natural lanolin that makes the material soft and keeps all the good features of merino wool.
